Guidelines for a productive library experience

Section 1

General Rules & Registration Conditions

The Faculty Library is a shared service dedicated to providing information resources and supporting teaching and scientific research. Access is reserved for teachers, students, staff, and persons authorized by the library administration.

    The student card is personal and cannot be used by anyone else.

  • 2

    Any card without a photo is not accepted.

  • 3

    The student card or authorization must be presented to access library services.

Section 2

External Borrowing System

  • 1

    Teachers: 4 books for 20 days.

  • 2

    Post-graduate students: 4 books for 15 days.

  • 3

    First-year students: 3 books for one week.

Section 3

Internal Borrowing System

Internal borrowing allows consulting references inside the library only. Researchers from outside the faculty are only allowed internal borrowing. A maximum of two books can be reserved at once.

Section 4

Borrowing Procedures

  • 1

    Loan desk hours: Sunday to Thursday, 08:30 – 16:00.

  • 2

    Loans can be renewed according to the system.

  • 3

    Renewal may be refused for high-demand books.

  • 4

    Borrowing is personal — proxy borrowing is not accepted.

  • 5

    Borrowing is done by filling out the loan form.

  • 6

    A clearance receipt is required before receiving the success certificate.

Behavior & Discipline Rules

  • 1

    Maintain silence inside the library.

  • 2

    Scientific clubs must respect their assigned days.

  • 3

    The group-work room requires reservation at least 3 days in advance.

  • 4

    Damaging books or writing on them is forbidden.

  • 5

    Writing on tables or damaging library equipment is forbidden.

  • 6

    Lost or damaged books must be compensated.

  • 7

    Books must be returned to their correct location.

  • 8

    Eating and smoking inside the library are forbidden.

  • 9

    Phone calls inside the library are forbidden.

Section 6

Penalties

  • 1

    Late return: borrowing is suspended for 3 days for each day of delay.

  • 2

    Using another person's card: card is withdrawn and borrowing is suspended for 3 months.

Violations are recorded and may affect future access to library services.

Section 7

Suggestions & Cultural Activities

A dedicated register is available for suggestions, complaints, and reference acquisition requests.

  • 1

    Prior authorization is required.

  • 2

    Approval of the department head and the dean.

  • 3

    Reservation at least one week in advance.

The library supports cultural, scientific, and recreational activities under these conditions.

Registration Location

Registration is completed at the Bibliographic Research and Information Service.
